Best of November 2014 from the Infrared-Club (Extra-Visible Imaging)

Another month gone and another month of excellent submissions. First the NEWS!

Jenny tells me that the infrared gradients project is nearly finished, with more fractals about to be posted. If I have time, or if anyone else would like to do it, a feature of this work should be made, and displayed here. Many thanks to Jenny for all her efforts.





VERY IMPORTANT POINT

The time for renewal of the Super Group Status is approaching. Currently this costs $59.95 or 4796 points. Last year, I funded this myself as I could not face the hassle of trying to raise funds. This year I should like some significant contributions. We publish this Best of Feature every month, and perhaps members are not aware that the Journal attracts a very large number of page views every month.  Over the last 12 months we have had well over 10,000 page views - 10,000!!! I cannot tell how much of this attention translates into members' work being faved or commented upon or otherwise promoted, but certainly many of you will have attracted more viewers through being featured. Even without the features, many of you will have had your work seen and commented upon by other members. Consequently, a contribution towards the upkeep of Super Group Status would be very welcome. All you need do is send me Okavanga points and I shall put those toward the renewal fund. I suggest a minimum donation of 100 points (roughly $1!!!) from 50 people - more if you want. Any excess funds will go to prizes for a competition next year. A list of donors will be presented in forthcomimg Journals.

Best Infrared Images for November 2014


Despite the end of the infrared season being upon us, we have had a healthy 85 plus images submitted this month, the following being our choices for the top category. I have not had time to categorise them by theme this month, and I have included only a single image for each member to allow more exposure for new and less frequent submitters.
