BTW - thanks again for the tip re Tunisian wine. Of those on the list I sampled Clipea Tunisian White - in fact a Chardonnay, along with a Selian wine - Sauvignon Blanc, and a another Sauvignon Blanc called "Jour et Nuit". All of these were light, crisp but had depth! The Chardonnay was not the intense "buttery" taste associated with many Oz varieties, but more dry with lots of fruit.
sounds wonderful... I am so glad you have tried several while there. Travel is so much more than the place... it is food, drink, the culture, the customs.... I am headed to the bar for a nice soft Chardonnay... you wet my appetite... sounds like you are having a good time...or are you back?
