An experiment in stereoptics - no special setting up of the camera - just two hand-held photos taken with a slight, arbitrary, lateral shift. Those who shoot pano hand-held would have no difficulty with this. No post-processing, except sharpening - just into the Gimp for compositing into one image. NB - cross-eye viewing.

I know the bottle should have been a jug - hell to pay if the other person in the photo ever sees this!!!!

Just experimental works, Robson - I've got this idea that the brain is more accommodating than I had supposed about 3D images.

Stand by for some more!

Cheers

Great work David at the cha cha
Sorry but I haven't mastered crossed eyed viewing, just crossed wires in my brain !
You will have to learn to convert it to anaglyph.
I have no idea why it should be a milk jug & not a bottle ?
Cheers

Spouses in the UK tend to get hung up on milk bottles being presented in public - always a jug!

I'll work on the anaglyphs later, Col

Cheers

You lucky to still get milk in glass bottles :D
Ours are plastic or paper now.

Looking forwards to anaglyph :D

Interesting, David!

The effect does depend on being able to do a cross-eye view and blend the two images for the brain. Making the two images smaller on the screen (Ctrl-scroll with mouse)makes it easier.

Cheers

I was gonna ask, but wasn't quite sure if it was just me that didn't know how to do it...thanks, David.
