Black Water of Dee

Part of the mid stretch of what becomes the River Dee in Dumfries and Galloway, eventually forming the Dee Estuary at Kirkcudbright. Known over this stretch as the Black Water, the water course runs alongside the Raiders' Road, a former cattle drove track. Normal Scottish weather with cloudy rainy skies pertained, and I've used Photomatix Pro to fuse three images, followed by treatment in the Nik suite Silver Efex Pro to add a monochrome film emulation (Kodak TKMax 400).
