Description
A set of images shot in May in and around the village of Avebury, Wiltshire, UK. This tiny village lies at the heart of one of the biggest henges in the world. A henge is a normaly circular earthwork and ditch surrounding and protecting stone and or wood constructions used, probably, for religious and ceremonial purposes. They were constructed in the UK in Neolithic times about 4000 or more years ago (yes, that long ago), the most famous being Stonehenge, located about 20 or so miles from Avebury.
